About the event

Join Georges River Land Trust and the Rockland Public Library for River of Life: a presentation by Don Reimer about the ecology and history of the lower St. George River.

Don is a naturalist, photographer, and writer known for his book Seen Anything Good? as well as regular contributions to the Midcoast Villager. In this presentation, he will concentrate on the lower 5 miles of the Georges River, stretching from the head of tides area in Warren village to Thomaston harbor. He will highlight this region's scenic beauty, its recreational and commercial values, and provide a catalogue of the birds and animals commonly found along this portion of the river.
